installous 버전 업데이트 - MobileHunt/New Graphics

Installous가 2011년 새해 업데이트를 했습니다. installous 기존 3.x버전에서 installous 4로 명칭이 바뀌면서 4.0으로 바뀌었습니다.

기능은 동일하지만 비주얼적으로 많이 바뀌었습니다. 찾기 버튼이 위로 올라갔네요.

Installous 4 Released!!!

This monumental update that we announced at Meetulous 2010 has undergone extensive bug testing and now that it is stable enough for public release, we hope you enjoy it! Installous 4 boasts new graphics and the addition of the MobileHunt distributed cracking platform. We've added a homescreen, fixed tons of bugs, and improved speeds.

새로운 그래픽과 MobileHunt 라는 크랙 플랫폼을 배포한다고 합니다. 

보시다시피 비주얼 적으로 많이 바뀌었습니다. 하지만 기본적인 기능은 전버전과 동일합니다. 하지만 MobileHunt라는 기능이 추가되었고 Settings에도 On/Off가 생겼습니다. 켜나 안켜나 기능상 변화는 없습니다. 

MobileHunt is a distributed cracking platform that allows everybody to contribute portions of applications that aren't on apptrackr. Similar to a "reverse torrent," we collect small parts of applications people have installed (with their permission) on Installous until we've collected the entire application. Our staff can then test it (to ensure it's properly patched) and release it on apptrackr.

MobileHunt에 관한 Hackulos의 글입니다. 아마 깔려있는 어플들의 일부를 수집하는거 같습니다. 용도는 Hackulos에서 해당 어플을 테스트하고 앱트레커에 릴리즈하는데 쓴다는거 같네요.

컴퓨터에서 말하자면 MS의 오류보고와 비슷한겁니다. 오류를 보내는게 아니라 설치되어 있는 어플들 중에서 일부 파일을 보내는겁니다. 아마 DRM에 관한 파일이겠지만 어떤게 가는지 정확히 나와있지 않습니다.

보안에 관심이 많으시다면 이 부분은 OFF 해두시는게 좋을거 같습니다. 일부만 가져간다고 하더라도 자신이 설치된 어플의 일부를 가져간다는것은 개인정보에도 약간 위험스러우니까요.

아무튼 이번 Installous4는 비주얼적으로 마음에 듭니다. 더구나 속도도 약간 빨라진거 같습니다. 레티나 디스플레이 완전히 잘 적용되어 있어서 선명하네요. 위 이미지 8개 중에 위쪽 6개는 아이폰 3 이미지이고 마지막 2개는 레티나 이미지입니다. 확대해서 보시면 차이가 납니다.
